A table more expensive than the Honda Civic Type R? It consists of a V12 engine from Ferrari

A rather unusual table will be up for sale at the upcoming RM Sotheby’s auction. It is based on a V12 engine from Ferrari.

Various automotive gadgets often reach cosmically high prices. It doesn’t matter if it’s about memorabilia related to legendary drivers, watches or interior design elements. This last category includes a special table, which will go to an auction organized by RM Sotheby’s in Miami on December 10th. This is the perfect item for all petrolheads looking for the perfect Christmas gift. And certainly for the very wealthy.

The special table was based on a V12 engine from Ferrari. And it’s not about a unit from the newer models of the Maranello brand. It is a classic bike with six double Webber carburettors, known from the most legendary models of the Italian manufacturer. Unfortunately, for all those who would like to reuse the engine, we have bad news – there are no internal parts. In addition, it does not have any serial numbers, which makes it difficult to identify it.

Four height-adjustable legs made of exhaust manifolds are responsible for the base of the tempered glass tabletop. Unfortunately, no attempt was made to provide the exact dimensions of the table or its total weight.
